Luxe fabrics, lucent gems and South American wines comprise the exotic collections at Peru 2 U. The shops eclectic finds include sweaters, scarves, knitted hats and lightweight pants, designed by owner John Harkins, and made from soft alpaca, wool and Peruvian cotton. Fine 14 karat gold and 950 silver jewelry pieces adorned with precious and semi precious stones–also designed by the owner–can be found at Peru 2 U along with Jaguar Hombre, a unique brand of Peruvian wine. Ray Fasy, store manager, recognized as “Jeweler to the Stars” has created jewelry pieces for Naomi Judd and other country music stars whose autographed photos fill a back room. In 2011, Peru 2U won Best in Show and Morales Fasy was name Best Jewelry Designer at Peru Moda, a fashion exporters show.
