Available now, the prix fixe “Taste of Persia” menu includes a choice of three appetizers. choice of five signature entrees – with optional upgrades: Grilled Lamb Medallions with sabzi polo (fresh green herbed rice dish) and grilled tomatoes or Seafood Reshtéh, a fragrant slow-simmered stew of fresh seafood and artichokes in a mustard-dill saffron cream broth with Persian noodles (both available for an additional $10). The sweet finale is house made baklava, paired with Persian saffron ice cream and fresh seasonal fruit.

“Summer is the perfect time to introduce new guests to Persian cuisine,” says owner and chef Michael Mir. “This menu allows diners to experience the richness of our culinary heritage at an approachable price.”

Persian cuisine is one of the world’s oldest and most refined food cultures, tracing its roots back to the Persian Empire and Silk Road trade routes. Rich in tradition, yet inherently fresh and vibrant, it offers a rare combination of historical depth, regional diversity and contemporary elegance.

Persian dishes are known for their subtle layering of flavors and complex. Ingredients like saffron, dried limes, rosewater, pomegranate and cinnamon are used in harmony to create a balance of sweet, sour, savory and aromatic notes in one dish.

Rice is central to Persian cuisine, especially the celebrated tahdig (crispy golden rice crust) and fragrant saffron basmati rice. Techniques like steaming with herbs, dried fruits, or barberries make each rice dish a showstopper.

Fresh herbs like parsley, mint, dill, tarragon and cilantro are used abundantly, in place of heavy spices or sauces. With roots in agrarian traditions, Persian cuisine highlights what’s in season — stone fruits, nuts, fresh greens and yogurt-based sauces all feature heavily. Aesthetics are essential.
