Each year Florida Trend seeks nominations for the top men and women in the business world who embody the growing diversity of Florida’s business community for their Florida 500 list.  From the nominees, they organize their selections using broad economic categories from the US Department of Commerce, with the number of influentials in each category roughly proportional to that category’s share of Florida’s state GDP.  After selecting from the list thousands of nominees in the year-long process, the 2021 Florida 500 has been released and for the second year in a row, includes David Hoffmann of Hoffmann Family of Companies.

In 2020, Hoffmann was recognized as one of the top Real Estate Influentials. The Hoffmann’s are the largest private commercial real estate owners in Naples, owning over 35 properties with an estimated worth of over $500 million and are accredited with revitalizing the downtown area of Naples,  (5th Avenue South) through their renovations and investment into their properties and contributions to the community.
