*Rise Up & Shine exhibition includes a sneak peek of Un Grand Cru, an original Latour painting that Emillions Art and the artist have donated to this year’s “Rise Up – Twenty Twenty Twogether” Naples Winter Wine Festival (NWWF). Bidders worldwide have the chance to bid on Un Grand Cru (valued at $10,000) online at napleswinefestival.com. Additionally, Emillions Art will donate 10% of painting sales from the opening night reception to the NWWF charity’s mission to raise funds to benefit underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County.
In 1984, Latour was selected to design plans for a new Popemobile for Pope John-Paul II’s visit to Canada. Two copies of this Popemobile were produced: one is exhibited today at the Museum of Science of Canada in Ottawa and the other is still in the fleet of the Vatican.
