About the band: Big Buck and the Biscuit Boys
Big Buck and the Biscuit Boys is a five-piece band that plays an urban, funky blues style inspired by musicians Muddy Waters, Albert King and the J. Geils Band with signature standout songs including “The Conductor” by Guy LaForge and “Seventh Son” and “Biscuit Bakin’ Woman” by Willie Dixon.

Led by frontman vocalist and harmonica player Big Buck, a big commanding presence on the stage, blowing sizzling lines and keeping up a stream of jokes. Buck formed the band in 1993 and chose the “Biscuit Boys” tag as a homage to the old “King Biscuit Flower Hour” radio show. He grew up in Chappaqua, NY with a piano-playing father and a mother who was in the theatre. There was always music in the house,” he recalls. “A lot of Ray Charles, Stan Getz and Hank Crawford, who played with T-Bone Walker. I loved it all, but most of all I loved the blues.”
