April 3rd: Staff and Volunteers preparing for the Grand Re-Opening of Historic Palm Cottage

The staff and volunteers of Naples Historical Society were thrilled to welcome an average of 200 visitors a day during Historic Palm Cottage’s recent Grand Re-Opening week!

Visitors enjoyed seeing the restored Cottage, reviewing large images of the hurricane’s damage, strolling The Norris Gardens and delighted in watching a Telly Award winning film.

Taking a house tour is an amazing opportunity to compare how Palm Cottage looked immediately following the storm to the way it looks now after its nearly six-month restoration. Guests were heard saying that Historic Palm Cottage looks better than ever!

A regular schedule of docent-led and self-guided tours has resumed, and we encourage you to make your reservation on-line today.

Please note the only official walking tours of Naples Historic District, which are provided by Naples Historical Society staff and volunteers, have been cancelled for the foreseeable future in respect to owners of historic houses who are still dealing with hurricane damage.
