Elizabeth Wallace Rountree

Elizabeth Wallace Rountree (Liz) joined The Naples Players as Director of Advancement effective today, September 18, 2023. Reporting to CEO/Executive Artistic Director, Bryce Alexander, Liz will serve on TNP’s leadership team and be responsible for directing the organization’s fundraising and public engagement efforts.

As a Certified Fund Raising Executive and with more than twenty-five years of development and marketing in the arts and finance industries, Liz is well positioned to take on this important role as TNP’s very first Director of Advancement. Most recently Liz served as the Senior Development Officer for The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. Prior to joining The Shelter, Liz was the Chief Development Officer at Gulf Shore Playhouse and before that, a Major Gifts Officer at Artis-Naples.

“As an organization devoted to the people of Collier County, we spend very little money on fundraising. Having a seasoned fundraising expert like Liz on our team will allow us to broaden our community reach, while continuing to focusing our resources on serving our local community,” said Bryce Alexander, CEO. “She’s an incredible addition to our team.”

A native of Virginia, Liz served as Vice President of Development for Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia. There she established a formal fundraising department and managed a tri-regional capital campaign. Her extensive fundraising experience includes several fine arts institutions on both the East and West coasts, hospital systems, private foundations, and human service organizations.

Liz has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona, and she has long cultivated her passion for the arts. From her teens forward, she worked on sets for local theaters and television commercials, and she looks forward to returning to her artistic roots and growing with TNP and the Naples community.
