Gulf Coast International Properties® Agents and Paradise Region Gruppe Porsche Members Kevin and Jacqui Aizenshtat recently hosted a fundraiser to benefit Maria’s Birthday Wishes for the Homeless.

The Thursday, November 9th cocktail hour at Gulf Coast International Properties 5th Avenue Naples office benefitted a charity near and dear to the Aizenshtats’ hearts, Maria’s Birthday Wishes for the Homeless, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to bringing acknowledgment, self-worth, hope, and smiles to the often-forgotten population of the homeless on their birthdays. Through the simple gesture of delivering cupcakes, the organization feeds the spirit of shelter residents on their special day.

The well-attended event welcomed many Porsche Club Members and the founder of the charity herself, Maria Wassef. Charitable donations and good-will flowed with the evening raising $1,200 for Maria’s charity. GCIP client Blaise Dietz graciously gifted $600, and 50-50 raffle winner Lori Merlot generously donated her winnings directly back to the non-profit.

Kevin Aizenshtat states, “It was a beautiful evening in more ways than one on the Avenue, with the Evening on Fifth festivities as a backdrop to our event. Jacqui and I have known Maria since the 1990’s. Her tireless efforts to support the homeless and youth in Collier County go largely unheralded so we wanted to shine a light on her charity, especially heading into the holiday season.”
