The Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District (BID) will host its annual “Halloween Spooktacular” on Sunday, October 31st. The event will feature a variety of activities for children and adults throughout the day along Naples’ historic main street.

This year’s “Spooktacular” for children will be held from 12 noon to 3 PM. The entire Sugden Plaza will be dedicated to family/children’s activities, and Park Street will be closed off to traffic and to ensure that kids are safe from traffic and pedestrian flow on Fifth. Unlike years in the past, however, the actual street will NOT be open to pedestrians. Many businesses along the Avenue will be decorating their stores or restaurants. Some will be providing candy to Trick or Treaters and will be identified by a pumpkin displayed in the front windows of their establishments. A special “Evening on Fifth” will also be held from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM with musical entertainment.

“This year’s Halloween Spooktacular is the first since the pandemic. As a result, we have scaled down this event to ensure a safe, yet entertaining, family-focused experience for our residents,” said Bruce Barone, Jr., executive director of the Fifth Avenue South BID. “We are pleased to once again invite the community to this fun and festive holiday event.”

Featuring more than 220 businesses, including high-end shops, world-class dining, unique boutiques and galleries, and exciting entertainment options, Fifth Avenue South is the vibrant heart of Naples.
