City of Naples Health Information Update – Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

Governor’s Executive Order No. 20-71 addressing alcohol sales, restaurants and bars, and gym and fitness centers
Naples, FL (March 20, 2020) – This afternoon, Governor DeSantis issued Executive Order 20-71 in response to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Executive Order directs:
- All restaurants and food establishments to suspend on-premises food consumption for customers but may operate for the purpose of providing delivery or take-out services.
- Suspension of the sale of alcoholic beverages for the consumption on the premises.
- Certain food establishments that were prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages for off premise consumption, may now sell alcoholic beverages; must be accompanied by the sale of food, must be in sealed containers, and consumed off-premises.
- All gymnasiums and fitness centers shall close, except for those in hotels with a capacity of 10 persons or less, an amenity of a residential building, or in a single-occupant office building.
This Executive Order shall expire upon the expiration of Executive Order 20-52, including any extensions.
