Please join the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Collier County Branch in celebrating the 22nd Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Celebration. This year’s theme is “DEFEAT HATE WITH LOVE”: Dr. King’s Legacy of Inclusion and Diversity. The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Broad Avenue South and Third Street South. The parade continues on a two-mile route, turns down Fifth Avenue South ending with a celebration from 11:00a.m. – 3p.m. in Cambier Park. Mrs. Ellin Goetz and Mr. Michael Watkins will be heading the parade as Grand Marshals. There will be live entertainment, food vendors, family fun, and activities for the kids and much more.

We would love for you, to join us and share our vision to educate, promote and remember King’s vision and celebrate diversity as we come together as a community.

Should you join us in this celebration, let us know if you will need a vehicle provided for you to ride in the parade.

We look forward to seeing you in the parade!
