February on Fifth Avenue South Features Cars, Love, Art, and Food

Put the pedal to the metal and join us on February 5 for the 18th Annual Cars on 5th Concours where around 700 vintage and luxury cars will be on display. It has become one of the largest and most exciting events of the year in SWFL and certainly on Fifth Avenue South.

And what a lineup. More than 150 Ferraris from old to new will be featured, plus hundreds of Jags, Lotus, and Triumphs for the fast and fashionable and Bentleys and Mercedes for the more luxuriously laid back. The American contingency will be in full force with 65 Corvettes and 80 muscle cars. In short, whether male, female, young or old, you are sure to find a car that should have your name on it!

The event draws visitors from all over the world and is not just about cars. It’s also about helping the community and giving to those in need. Donations to local charities have totaled more than $3 million over the past 13 years. Last year’s Cars on 5th Concours raised more than $500,000 for St. Matthew’s House for those struggling with homelessness, and we hope to exceed that this year.

St. Matthew’s House operates the only Collier County facility approved to feed the public, providing more than 500,000 meals each year for residents and those in the community who are in need of food. It also operates the only emergency homeless shelter in Collier County, giving shelter to more than 300 men, women and children every night.

Two Other Exciting Events

The 43rd Annual Naples National Art Show, hosted by Naples Art, will take place February 19-20 in Cambier Park where more than 190 juried artists from across the country will be featured in multiple artistic mediums. The event is consistently voted among the top art shows in the country. As one of the oldest shows in Collier County, the Naples National Art Show is considered a premiere, must–see event, thanks to the high quality of art, the diverse and interesting artists, and the fun and festive atmosphere.

Many of our Fifth Avenue South chefs will be participating in "A Culinary Adventure" on February 23 to fight hunger and homelessness in our community. Hosted by the Naples Woman’s Club, the adventure features 20 top chefs in our community who prepare a special luncheon for 20 lucky people. This is the second luncheon in the series.
