Bring friends and family for this annual tradition on 5th Avenue South as local choral groups, dance troupes, school and church choirs and the community come together for the holidays and the traditional lighting of the Tree. Festively decorated storefronts and windows, twinkling lights and Stores open late with holiday cheer! And, don’t miss Santa and Mrs. Claus as they pose for photos and hand out candy!
The Traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony kicks off at 5:00 p.m. in the Sugden Plaza with a performance by the ReCreation Tappers, followed by the North Naples United Methodist Church Women’s Choir–Lydia’s Song; the Ave Maria Dance Academy. About 6:30 p.m. the majestic tree and decorations in the plaza and along 5th Avenue will be lit by Mayor John Sorey, Gloria Kovacs, Chair of the 5th Avenue Events Committee; Jim Smith, Fifth Avenue South BID President; and Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Special thanks this year to our holiday decoration sponsors–Naples Square, Kilwin’s of Naples, Pazzo, ReQuest, and the Inn on 5th. Thanks to their generous contributions, we were able to continue the beautiful tree and decorations in the plaza.
