A new chapter in Naples dining has arrived with the opening of Omasava, an omakase experience where Japanese tradition is reimagined through elevated artistry, seasonality, and devotion to detail. Created by the acclaimed team behind Sails Restaurant and Butcher Private, Omasava invites guests to surrender to a chef-guided tasting journey shaped by precision, intention, and a deep respect for craft.
Hidden along Fifth Avenue South, Omasava was designed as a sanctuary for those who seek the extraordinary. At its center stands a chef’s counter sculpted from fossilized oak dating back to 1,000 BC, offering a rare vantage point into the discipline, care, and mastery behind every course. Above, a ceiling of vintage Champagne bottles casts a soft, ambient glow—setting the stage for a dining experience that feels both timeless and beautifully reimagined.
The Experience
Omasava’s tasting journey unfolds course by course, with no menu—only trust. Each evening reflects the rhythm of the season, guided by the chef’s mastery and expressed through dishes that honor tradition while embracing elevated presentation. Ingredients are sourced both locally and from Tokyo’s renowned market, arriving at dawn before being transformed into compositions that balance purity, restraint, and expression.
Two nightly seatings, at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., create an atmosphere where time slows and guests are invited into a new rhythm of dining. The experience, priced at $298 per guest, plus tax, service charge, and beverages, lasts approximately two hours. Beverage offerings include an award-winning wine list, curated sake, craft cocktails and a refined tea pairing.
