Bha! Bha! is adding a fresh layer of creativity to its popular daily Social Hour with the debut of three handcrafted cocktails: Cucumber Blossom, Persian Sunset and Bourbon Royale. The new libations lean into ingredients that are often used in Persian cuisine, like mint, cardamom, saffron and barberries, flipping the flavors of the kitchen straight into your cocktail glass.
Whether paired with signature dishes or savored on their own, the additions offer a compelling new dimension to the restaurant’s bar-exclusive Social Hour menu of curated small plates, with each sip and bite making the next one even more enjoyable, encouraging both discovery and return visits. Meticulously composed and visually expressive, the new libations awaken the senses, not numb them.
Cucumber Blossom is a crisp, cool and quietly aromatic cocktail. Muddled cucumber, gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, house-made sour mix and mint are lifted with a splash of tonic, creating a combination that is both serene and subtly invigorating — a perfect counterpoint to the vibrant spices of Persian cuisine.
Persian Sunset lives up to its name, capturing the warmth of the golden hour, balancing gin and Aperol with fresh grapefruit juice, house-made sour mix and aromatic basil, resulting in a bright citrus-forward cocktail with a gentle bittersweet edge and herbal edge that evolves with each sip. It’s both visually striking and palate-awakening.
Bourbon Royale offers a rich and velvety experience, pairing bourbon with sweet vermouth to highlight notes of caramel, spice and dark fruit. Enhanced with Chambord black raspberry liqueur and house-made sour mix, this spirit-only cocktail is gently chilled and balanced, while maintaining a smooth, elegant texture that lets the bourbon shine.
The new drinks join Bha Bha!’s Social Hour menu of small plates, priced from $5 to $14, giving guests even more reason to linger. Offerings include Persian favorites such as a smoked eggplant and cucumber yogurt duo with lavash, lamb and beef lavash triangles, Koobideh kabob wraps, tamarind shrimp, Rashti chicken and Kashani beef, among others.
Bha Bha’s Social Hour is available daily from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., exclusively at the bar.
