5th Avenue South Names Young Life New Collier Charity Partner for Spooktacular on 5th

NAPLES, Fla. (August 25, 2016) – The 5th Avenue South Business Improvement District (www.FifthAvenueSouth.com) – whose mission is to brand promote and create awareness of 5th Avenue South, a world-renowned shopping, dining, and entertainment destination located in Naples, Florida – is pleased to announce that Young Life New Collier has been named its Charity Partner for the 2016 Halloween Spooktacular on 5th.
In support of Young Life New Collier, a suggested donation of $5 will be requested at the entry into the event.
“Young Life New Collier is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the 5th Avenue South Business Improvement District (BID). The BID most recently supported the inaugural launch of the Mother’s Day Brunch on 5th Avenue South, which raised $10,000 for Young Life New Collier, and allowed us to send kids to camp and provide direct ministry throughout the community. This new partnership will allow us to continue to connect with 5th Avenue South patrons and employees and educate them about our mission to help youth connect spiritually in meaningful, life-transforming ways, while also raising funds for the organization,” said Ariza Reyes, area director of Young Life New Collier.
Halloween Spooktacular on 5th will take place on Monday, October 31 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on 5th Avenue South as part of the fall CityFEST celebration. The evening will kick off with kids’ activities from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., including trick-or-treating at 5th Avenue South businesses and the Kid’s Costume Contest. From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. guests will enjoy live music; a street dance; a giant movie screen featuring fun and classic horror cartoons and movies; classic cars on display; and the Adult Costume Contest. Costume Contest registration will be available by visiting www.FifthAvenueSouth.com. The cost to register is $10 in advance and $15 the evening of the event. Prize packages will be given for first, second, and third place in the Kid’s Contest; and first, second, third place and Best Family in the Adult Contest.
Young Life New Collier, a recently formed region of Young Life Florida, provides mentoring, spiritual programs, and guidance for middle school and high school students, as well as teen moms and their babies, in eastern and southern Collier County.
