5th Avenue South Unveils Special 5th Anniversary 5th Avenue South Magazine
NAPLES, Fla. (September 29, 2016) – The 5th Avenue South Business Improvement District (www.FifthAvenueSouth.com) – whose mission is to brand promote and create awareness of 5th Avenue South, a world-renowned shopping, dining, and entertainment destination located in Naples, Florida – is thrilled to unveil the cover of the 5th anniversary edition of its 5th Avenue South magazine which features renowned local artist, Emily James’ painting, “Enjoying a morning on 5th”, an iconic image of 5th Avenue Coffee Company & 6th Street Diner.
“As the only working artist with a studio on 5th Avenue South, I was thrilled to be asked to capture the area which I know and love so well. It was a challenge to convey the joy of people interacting, as well as the picturesque coffee shop. But, in the end, it was a delightful ‘puzzle’ to solve!” said James.
James is known worldwide for her versatility in both subject and style in watercolors and acrylics and oil on canvas that she creates from her studio on 5th Avenue South in Naples, Florida. She enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, and contemporary works, and is a portrait artist as well. James is the only artist in the United States that has been selected by the top three fine art publishers, with two of her images among the top 50 selling prints worldwide. She has exhibited at the High Museum in Atlanta, and was selected as an Outstanding American Woman in the Arts. James is a signature member of the Florida Watercolor Society, accepted into Watercolor U.S.A., and featured in the book, The Best of Watercolor.
