A Midday Gathering: Tulia Italian Steak Hosts Wine Lunch with Barolo Producer

Giovanna Garesio, owner and winemaker of Garesio Winery in Piedmont, Italy, is the guest of honor for the May 4 wine lunch at Tulia Italian Steak.The newly opened Tulia Italian Steak in Naples invites guests to gather for a midday wine experience on Monday, May 4, featuring guest of honor Giovanna Garesio, owner and producer of Garesio Winery in the heart of Piedmont’s Barolo region.
Beginning at 12 p.m., the three-course wine lunch will be hosted by restaurant partner and wine director Marcello Palazzi, who will guide guests through a curated pairing menu by Chef Vincenzo Betulia alongside Garesio’s wines.
The lunch is one of the monthly wine lunches hosted by Tulia Italian Steak, bringing producers from around the world to Naples for guided wine and food experiences.
Giovanna Garesio, the daughter of the founders of Garesio Winery, has become known as a new generation of Italian producers since taking the helm of the winery in the mid-2010s. She combines a respect for tradition with a thoughtful, modern approach. Her vineyards span some of Piedmont’s most respected areas, including Serralunga d’Alba, Monferrato, and Alta Langa, with a focus on native varieties such as Nebbiolo and Barbera. She has built a young, dynamic team and emphasizes a non-invasive, environmentally conscious approach in both vineyard and cellar.
Inspired by the Italian tradition of lingering over a midday meal, the wine lunch offers the opportunity to meet Garesio and hear firsthand about her family’s winery and the wines she produces.
The experience will take place in Tulia Italian Steak’s private dining room, an intimate space tucked just off the main dining room. Framed by glass doors, the room carries the restaurant’s signature character while allowing the energy of the restaurant to filter in.
The Garesio wine lunch is priced at $100 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Seating is limited.
