A Taste of Jersey owner shares her Naples favorites — Where the Chefs Eat

Although A Taste of Jersey in Naples is her first restaurant, Susan Farese has been in the food service industry her entire working life.
“Bartending, serving, catering,” she says. “I really have done every aspect of food service. But cooking has always been my favorite part.”
In her restaurant, her most popular items are the Philly cheesesteaks and cold subs.
“My goal was to give local people a place to eat — to stop, run in and grab a good sub.”
When she’s not in the kitchen, Farese like to go out to eat, especially if she can sit outside.
Here are some of her favorite local spots.
What are your go-to places for dining al fresco? I love to go out to Campiello on Third Street or Caffe Milano on Fifth Avenue. I work in a small kitchen all week, so on Sunday I like to sit outside and enjoy the area.
