City of Naples Health Information Update – Covid-19 (Coronavirus)

Naples, FL (June 4, 2020) – The City of Naples continues to actively monitor the evolving novel coronavirus (COVID-19) health emergency and is coordinating efforts with local agencies, health officials, healthcare providers, first responders, and other critical emergency response functions. The following provides an update to the community on recent changes and restrictions.
Beaches
On June 3, 2020, City Council continued the bifurcated hours of 7am to 11am and 5pm to sunset on Saturday and Sunday; therefore, beaches and beach parking in the City of Naples are closed between 11am and 5pm this upcoming weekend. During hours beach parking is allowed, it is restricted to vehicles with City of Naples and Collier County beach parking stickers. Increased parking fines ($200) remain in effect for violators. Chairs, umbrellas, and coolers are permitted on the beach. Tents remain prohibited. A Special Meeting of City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9that 8:30am to review the situation and determine what further decisions should be made for the weekend of June 12th moving forward.

City Hall
- Opening June 8th– 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Open 1st floor only
- Finance Customer Service
- Tax Collector’s Office will open on June 10th.
- Open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00a to 1:00pm
Parks
- All park restrooms opened in all parks.
- Remaining basketball hoops up by Friday, June 5th.
- Volleyball court at Fleischmann Park open.
- Playgrounds and Outdoor Fitness Equipment to remain closed.
- Beach volleyball nets remain closed.
River Park Aquatic Center
June 8th Opening at 25% capacity
Hours of Operation (Reduced Hours and Days):
- Monday – Friday: Open – 10 am – 12 pm
- Closed for Sanitizing – 12 pm – 1 pm
- Open – 1 pm – 3 pm
- Saturday/Sunday: CLOSED
Occupancy/Swimmers:
- 25% = 27 maximum capacity of patrons in the aquatic center.
- Lap Swimming: Restrict to 1 swimmer per lane (6 lanes available) and 2 water walkers upon request.
Community Centers – June 8th Opening with limited capacity.
River Park Community Center
Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 6:30 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Building Capacity: 50% = 185 People
Computer Lab:
- Limit of 5 computers available for use
Fitness Center:
- Limit of 7 members in the Fitness Center at one time.
- Member is not required to wear face mask while working out.
Rentals:
- 10 people maximum allowed in the meeting rooms and a maximum of 50 people allowed in the Auditorium.
Anthony Park
Closed for the summer 2020.
Fleischmann Park Community Center
Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Building Capacity: 50% = 175 people
Game Room: CLOSED
Rentals:
- 10 people maximum allowed in the meeting rooms.
Outdoor Rentals:
- 10 people maximum allowed
- Must follow above protocols and CDC recommendations regarding social distancing.
Skate Park:
- Limited to gather in groups of 10 or less.
- Same operating hours as community center (unless a camp is running).
- Following Bike and Skate Days as posted.
- Members only at this time.
- Member is not required to wear face covering while skating/biking.
Athletic Fields – No organized league/team play until further notice.
Norris Center/Cambier Park
Norris Center Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
- Saturday and Sunday: CLOSED
Building Capacity: 50% = 175 people
Game Room:
- Limit of 6 in the Game Room at one time.
Rentals:
- 10 people maximum allowed in the meeting rooms and maximum of 50 people allowed in the Auditorium.
Outdoor Gazebo Rental:
- 10 people maximum allowed.
Athletic Fields – No organized league/team play until further notice.
Seagate Park
Athletic Fields – No organized league/team play until further notice.
