Costume Contest Registration Available for 5th Annual Halloween Spooktacular on 5th
NAPLES, Fla. (October 20, 2015) – Costume Contest registration for the 5th Annual Halloween Spooktacular on 5th is currently available online by visiting www. FifthAvenueSouth.com. The contests will take place during the annual Halloween Spooktacular on 5th scheduled for Saturday, October 31 from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on 5th Avenue South as part of the fall CityFEST celebration. All costume contest entrants must register to participate. The cost to register is $10 in advance and $15 the evening of the event.
Halloween Spooktacular on 5th costume contests include the funtastic Kid’s Costume Contest sponsored by 104.7 The Mix; Naples Talk Radio 98.9FM, Animal Specialty Hospital, and Engle Dentistry; the Pucci & Catana Pet Costume Contest; and the Adult Costume Contest sponsored by Andersen Windows and Gator Country 101.9FM & BOB 102.9 FM. Prizes packages will be given for first, second, and third place in each category. Kids Costume Contest prizes include an Orlando theme park two-day four pack for first prize; a prize package featuring items from the Naples Zoo and several 5th Avenue South businesses for second prize; and a prize package from several 5th Avenue South businesses for third prize. Adult Costume Contest prizes include two nights at the Inn on 5th, dinner, and shopping on 5th Avenue South for first prize; a one-night stay and dinner at Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee for second prize; and dinner at Edgewater Beach hotel for third prize; and prize package featuring items from several 5th Avenue businesses for Best Family.
The 5th annual Halloween Spooktacular on 5th will kick off with kids’ activities from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., including trick-or-treating at 5th Avenue South businesses and the Kid’s Costume Contest. From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., guests will enjoy live music; a street dance; a giant movie screen featuring fun and classic horror cartoons and movies; classic cars on display; and the Adult Costume Contest. In conjunction with Halloween Spooktacular on 5th the Naples Art Association will also present Night at the Museum Haunted House at The von Liebig Center that evening.
Please note that event parking is available in the two Free parking garages on 8th Street South; the public lot on Park Street; the public lot at 8th Street South and 8th Avenue South; 5th Avenue Parkway, and around Cambier Park. Please respect neighboring homes and private property when seeking parking.
