Fifth Avenue South Sponsors Provide Funding for Time-Honored Holiday Decorations
NAPLES, Fla. (November 21, 2013) – Fifth Avenue South is pleased to announce that the traditional holiday decorations – including the magnificent Christmas tree and the dazzling embellishments throughout Sugden Plaza – are generously sponsored this year by Naples Square; Kilwin’s of Naples; ReQuest; and Yabba Island Grill, Chops Seafood and Steak, and Pazzo!. These annual decorations will be installed in time for the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 5, and remain up through January 3, 2014.
“Because of the generous support of several area community champions, Fifth Avenue South will once again provide one of Naples’ most festively decorated Holiday streetscapes and will continue to serve as the destination for the holidays,” said Lise Sundrla, Executive Director of the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District.
According to sponsor, Kathy Miller, Vice President of Marketing & Sales with The Ronto Group, Inc., the developer of Naples Square, “We’re very excited to bring a new community to life in the heart of thriving, downtown Naples. Naples Square will create a long-awaited connection between Fifth Avenue South and the Bayfront area. The downtown business community and its patrons have embraced Naples Square, and we’re proud to support the organizations and events that make Naples such a special place to live.”
Starting in November, Fifth Avenue South will come alive with holiday decorations on street lamps, in trees, on window displays, and on storefronts and buildings. Also, this year the Fifth Avenue South Business Improvement District is continuing throughout Season the beautiful, lighted spheres in the Oak and Tabebuia trees along the Avenue; and the miniature white lights on Palms year round. Several new spheres have been added this year courtesy of Trimmers Holiday Décor.
