Fifth Avenue South To Host Several Events for Fourth of July

NAPLES, Fla. (June 25, 2014) – Fifth Avenue South (www.FifthAvenueSouth.com) is pleased to announce that it will host several events along the Avenue in celebration of the Fourth of July holiday.
Naples’ annual Fourth of July Parade will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4. The parade route will begin at Broad Avenue South, travel down Third Street South to Fifth Avenue South, and end at Eighth Street South. Don’t miss this traditional event filled with festive floats and family fun.
Also, on Friday, July 4, join thousands of residents and guests alike for Naples’ annual Fourth of July Fireworks at 9:00 p.m. at the City Pier at 12th Avenue. The fireworks display will last approximately 30 minutes. Guests are encouraged to bring a folding chair or blanket to enjoy this dazzling display of fireworks along the sandy shores of Naples City Beach. Following the fireworks, many businesses will be open along Fifth Avenue South for dinner, dessert, and shopping!
Fifth Avenue South will host a special Sidewalk Sale beginning on Friday, July 4 and running through Sunday, July 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at businesses throughout the district. Participating merchants will bring their merchandise and sale items to the sidewalks for this holiday. Shoppers are invited to visit their favorite Fifth Avenue South merchants while discovering new ones too.
And, don’t forget to take advantage of Fifth Avenue South’s ‘You First on Fifth’ program that offers specials and discounts for Florida residents at participating locations through September 30.
