Gourmet food, fine wine take over Fifth Avenue for Naples event

Fifth Avenue South transformed into a food — and wine — lover’s paradise for the inaugural Paradise Coast Food & Wine Experience on Saturday.
Almost 40 restaurants, including Ocean Prime, 21 Spices by Chef Asif, and Da Vinci’s Ristorante, set up their makeshift kitchens under white tents to serve their best dishes to more than 1,800 hungry patrons.
The foodie event, which stretched along five city blocks, let patrons sample everything from ahi tuna to beef empanadas to shrimp and grits cake.
