Inn on Fifth Named “Recommended Hotel” by Forbes Travel Guide

NAPLES, Fla. (September 20, 2013) – Forbes Travel Guide has unveiled its inaugural mid-year update to the official 2013 Forbes Travel Guide Star Rating list, naming the Inn on Fifth and Club Level Suites as a new Forbes Travel Guide Recommended Hotel. Located on prestigious Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples, Fla., the Inn on Fifth is now one of just 46 Recommended Hotels in the world to be showcased on ForbesTravelGuide.com. Other Florida Recommended Hotels include Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Southernmost on the Beach, and Turnberry Isle Miami. The Forbes rating follows the recent completion of a $1.7 million renovation and $18 million expansion that added 32 exclusive Club Level Suites to the iconic AAA Four Diamond Inn on Fifth.
“We continue to invest into raising the standard of luxury at the Inn on Fifth,” said Phil McCabe, owner of the Inn on Fifth. “We’re currently investing $2 million into replacing our iconic McCabe’s Irish Pub with an exciting, ultra modern, full-service restaurant called AVENUE5. Our goal is to open AVENUE5 around Christmas for the upcoming season, and eventually reopen McCabe’s Irish Pub at a new location.”
The Inn on Fifth is the latest addition to the luxury travel ratings that have been the gold standard in the hospitality industry since 1958. Only two other Naples properties are included in Forbes Travel Guide 2013 Star Award Winners – The Ritz-Carlton, Naples and The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples.
