Let’s Talk Food: Thanksgiving remembered in Old Naples

In recent years, Fifth Avenue South has emerged as Naples’ own Miracle Mile. It has always been some sort of miracle to me.
In 1952, when I first arrived in Naples, Fifth Avenue was a newly burgeoning avenue of commerce and, for me, the heart of our small town. It was our Main Street, with the town’s only bank, two hardware stores, two clothing stores, the telephone office and the Rexall Drugstore.
