Joseph Wendt Custom Clothiers Helps Raise $90,000 for Children’s Charities in SWFL
January 29, 2014
NAPLES, Fla. – Joseph Wendt Custom Clothiers, a high-end men’s and women’s custom and ready-to-wear clothing store in Naples, Fla., helped raise $90,000 for children’s charities in Southwest Florida as part of the 2014 Naples Children & Education Winter Wine Festival. JWCC donated a $10,000 credit for custom clothes as part of a lot full of high quality wines, and a wine enthusiast’s dream journey to Cyprus and Napa Valley, Calif. The lot sold for $90,000 during the Wine Festival on January 26 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples.
The 2014 Naples Winter Wine Festival raised a total of $13.5 million for charity over the course of a single afternoon, which included Joseph Wendt’s lot. This represents only the latest charitable windfall in the event’s history, which now totals over $125 million over the past 14 years. This year’s most expensive lot was a limited edition version of the already rare Lamborghini Aventador, which sold for $900,000.
Children’s charities throughout Collier County will benefit from the annual event. Each year the money is used to significantly improve the physical, emotional and educational lives of underprivileged and at-risk children in Collier County.
