PAINT Nail Bar Offers Fume-Free Natural Nail Treatments

Hygienic luxury nail experience enters Naples market on 5th Avenue South
Naples, FL: (December 12, 2019) . . . The ability to have your natural nails done with eco-friendly polishes in a fume-free environment now lies at your fingertips.
The luxurious PAINT Nail Bar, which recently opened at 515 Fifth Avenue South in Naples, offers a different kind of nail experience, according to owners Wendy and John Ciotti. One of more than 10 nationwide franchises of the Sarasota, Florida-founded PAINT Nail Bar, their local family-owned business isn’t a nail salon, the Ciottis say, so much as a lifestyle brand ready to give clients an affordable, luxury experience.
At PAINT, that experience is unique from the moment clients walk in the door – all courtesy of its environmentally friendly approach, Wendy Ciotti says. “You walk in the door, and you don’t smell anything and that’s the point,” she promises. “It’s healthier for both the clients and the employees.”
“At PAINT, we are all about the health and integrity of the natural nail, and everything in our salon focuses on that,” says Ms. Ciotti. “As far as the PAINT experience, it is unlike any other. In fact, when I first walked into PAINT Nail Bar in Sarasota, Florida, I knew I had to find a way to bring this to 5th Avenue South in Naples. It is a place that welcomes people of all ages and encourages community.”
To achieve this environmentally friendly, fume-free atmosphere, all tools used during nail services are pre-cleaned with soap and water, dried, sealed into a sterilization envelope, and autoclaved. They remain sterile inside the envelope until the nail service begins. Autoclaving is the highest level of sterilization and is standard procedure at surgical centers and dental offices in the U.S. (in accordance with AMA, FDA & EPA guidelines). This is the only process guaranteed to kill spores. Immersion disinfection, the standard practice used in salons, is not sufficient to completely eradicate all microbial life.
Certain tools, such as buffers and manicure sticks, are used only once and nontoxic nail polishes are “5-7-9 free” – meaning they contain no ingredients like formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor or dibutyl phthalate (DBP).
PAINT uses water-based gel polishes that will not damage the natural nail.
Brands include vegan-friendly gel polish Bioseaweed – a water-based gel that does not stain weaken or dehydrate the natural nail and nontoxic, gluten-free Madam Glam – safe for expecting mothers and health- and planet-conscious.
PAINT also offer non-gel polishes, such as vegan, cruelty-free and 5-minute-dry Dazzle Dry; high-shine Smith & Cult, a “five-free” formula (in industry terms, again lacking formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor and DBP); and Zoya, a nontoxic brand beneficial for those with allergies and skin sensitivities as well as expecting mothers.
LED lamps, as opposed to UV lamps are used for gel manicures and only ceramic pedicure basins (as opposed to pedicure whirlpool jets) are used because they are guaranteed to not harbor bacteria. “No matter how thoroughly cleaned, dangerous bacteria thrives in the plumbing and filters of whirlpool jets. Therefore, we have chosen ceramic pedicure basins that can be thoroughly cleaned between customers and are guaranteed not to harbor bacteria.
“At PAINT, you can soak your toes worry-free with no “ick” factor,” explains Ms. Ciotti. “We also offer “waterless” pedicures, which come with an extended massage! If you’ve never experienced this progressive new service, you’re in for a luxurious time.”
“You are also free to enjoy the scent of complimentary glass of prosecco, mimosa or rosé wine because there are no chemicals, acrylics, or drills,” she adds.
The nail technicians go through weeks of training – varying from service protocols, product knowledge and education – with continued education throughout the year. “We’re all about health and integrity of the natural nail,” Ms. Ciotti says. “Employees are trained on helping people get their most healthy, beautiful nails – we want to help people get their nails to where they want them to be.”
PAINT’s selection of manicures features the Lickety-Split mani/pedi, including polish removal, cuticle treatment, nail maintenance and the client’s choice of polish or high-shine buff – perfect for professionals on a lunch break. Another option, and one of the most popular of the services, is the Uptown Girl (or Guy) mani/pedi, which delivers a comforting, complete nail care experience, including nail maintenance, hydrating cuticle care, a warm towel treatment, a massage and an aromatic, exfoliating sugar scrub up to the wrist or ankle.
And the Water-Based Gel mani/pedi offers a no-chip, light-emitting diode polish that won’t dry your nail plates or cause the white discoloration that resin polishes leave behind, while the Sculpted Gel mani/pedi – a healthy alternative to acrylic nails – contains no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, the antioxidant butylated hydroxyanisole or solvents.
PAINT also offers modern nail art, as well as nail services for bridal showers, birthdays, corporate meetings and more. And even the littlest one in your life can join in the nail art fun with the Mini-Paint mani/pedi, which includes nail maintenance, gentle cuticle care, a warm towel treatment, a massage and polish application – all designed for girls 10 and younger.
Beyond offering complete nail care, PAINT features a retail section with a growing and rotating selection of clothing, jewelry and beach accessories from a variety of small businesses and local vendors.
“We want you to feel like you belong, and we hope that everyone feels like they’re welcome at PAINT,” says Ms. Ciotti. “We’re all about relationship-building, and we want people to grow to trust us, and come in for relaxation and an amazing manicure and pedicure. We want people to feel at home.”
“PAINT provides luxury in a healthier environment — and a healthier place to work for the nail technicians,” says John Ciotti. “Everyone, including pregnant women and children, can come in feeling confident they won’t be assaulted with harmful fumes and products. Music will be playing, and drinks and treats await our customers. We are truly more than ‘just a nail salon’.
“We do not look, feel, or smell like a traditional nail salon. From our custom-built furniture to our odorless environment, unparalleled staff development and engagement strategies, nails may be the trade, but relationships and client experience are the business,” he adds.
Although walk-ins are welcome, appointments are highly recommended. PAINT welcomes clients’ special events, whether they are fundraisers, parties, bridal showers, corporate meetings, birthdays, baby sprinkles or just a great time to get together.
“We will make sure you and your guests have a night, or day, to remember,” promises Ms. Ciotti. “We can make all the arrangements for food, beverages, and décor, or we can work with you hand-in-hand to assume whatever role you wish.”
